In the Twilight Zone episode titled “To Serve Man”, the Kanamits were a race of aliens that landed on Earth and announced that they would put an end to hunger with a book named To Serve Man. At the end of the episode, a man boarded the aliens’ spaceship and discovered that the book was a cookbook for serving humans as meals. The man said to the viewing audience, “How about you? You still on Earth, or on the ship with me? Really doesn’t make very much difference, because sooner or later, all of us will be on the menu… all of us”.
